We are excited to collaborate with Clarksville Dixie Youth for the upcoming season. We hope that by working together we can provide a better experience for all youth on the west end of the county. We intend to provide an environment where all young atheletes feel welcomed, included, and have equal opportunities.
Clarksville Dixie Youth is excited to announce a new partnership with the Chase City Recreational League, beginning with our Fall Ball 2026 season!
Starting this fall, the Chase City Recreational League will become part of the Clarksville Dixie Youth franchise, bringing our players, volunteers, and resources together under one Dixie Youth program. Players from Clarksville, Chase City, and the surrounding areas within our jurisdiction will register through Clarksville Dixie Youth and will be part of the same Dixie Youth franchise, while we continue utilizing both the Clarksville and Chase City complexes.
We will begin this partnership with Fall Ball 2026 and continue building it into our Spring 2027 season and beyond.
So, what does this mean for our families and players? It means more fields, more opportunities, more practice time, and more baseball and softball for our kids!
Games and practices will be held at both the Clarksville complex and the Chase City complex. Having access to both locations gives us more flexibility with scheduling and, even more importantly, allows us to create additional practice opportunities throughout the week. Rather than using all of our available field time just to fit in games, we can give our coaches and players more time to work on fundamentals, develop skills, and continue growing both our new and returning athletes.
Bringing the Chase City Recreational League under the Clarksville Dixie Youth franchise also means those players will be registered as Dixie Youth players and eligible for All Stars when applicable for players and families who choose to pursue that opportunity.
Also- don’t worry, we know ballpark nights sometimes mean dinner at the field. Concessions will continue to be available at both locations, so no matter which complex you’re playing at, we’ve got you covered.
We are also planning clinics and additional player development opportunities as we continue growing this partnership. Our goal is bigger than simply filling a game schedule. We want to build a stronger program, develop our athletes, strengthen the relationship between Clarksville and Chase City, and bring our players and volunteers together to create something that will continue growing for years to come.
And that’s not the only exciting thing happening! So many things up our sleeves right now!
Thanks to a very generous donation from a local sponsor, we are also beginning work to restore Robbins Park, with hopes of having it ready for use during the Spring 2027 season. We can’t wait to share more about that project as it develops.
There are a lot of good things happening, and we truly believe bringing these programs together is going to create more opportunities for our kids to play, practice, learn, and grow.
A huge thank you to the Chase City Recreational League and its board members for working alongside us to make this possible. Their knowledgeable, hardworking, and dedicated volunteers will be joining the Clarksville Dixie Youth organization as we move forward together, and we are incredibly excited about what we can accomplish as one program.
