The Berkley PowerBait soft worm came through again!

This nice bass hit a light purple worm with dark purple spots, but the real story happened after the catch.

The hook found a unique spot in the fish’s mouth, and instead of forcing it out, I carefully threaded the line and hook back through to avoid injuring the fish.

Fishing isn’t just about catching fish.
It’s about learning how to properly handle and release them too.

Meanwhile… my son is still looking for his first fish of the summer 😂

The fishing gods seem to be hanging out on my side of the pond right now. 🤣🐟
