Dear U17 Girls Academy,

You fought hard throughout the playoffs. No matter the score, whether it ended in the win or loss column, you played for one another. Until the final whistle, the effort and intensity were there, and you left everything on the field.

As a collective group, we are incredibly proud of the season you had. In your first season within the league, you finished second in the conference with an impressive 15-2-2 record. You also became just the second team in club history to qualify for the Round of 16 at GA playoffs.

The level of competition you faced provided a tremendous opportunity for growth as you prepare for the next stage at the U19 level. It also gives us an opportunity as a club to reflect on how we can come back even stronger next year and continue taking steps forward together as a team.

While the final result may not show it, this was a successful season. Although this moment may hurt, it will only make you stronger. Your teammates, coaches, staff, and parents are here for you every step of the way, whether cheering you on from the sidelines or supporting you at home.

Thank you for your commitment and belief in one another throughout this journey. We could not be prouder of what you accomplished this season.

After waiting for the final results, our U15 Girls Academy season has officially come to an end.

In their first season in the Girls Academy, this group finished first in their conference and went undefeated, earning a spot in the GA Playoffs. Along the way, they scored an impressive 55 goals while conceding just 9, a testament to the growth, discipline, and commitment shown throughout the season.

Beyond the accomplishments on the field, some of our biggest goals were centered around player development and creating the best possible environment for our girls to grow. Our coaches worked to put each player in a position to succeed, understanding that every player's journey is unique. As a club, we are proud to play a role in helping them along that path.

This group showed tremendous potential throughout the season and left no doubt that they will be back next year, ready to continue chasing their goals and giving their all.

Ladies, congratulations on an incredible season. The memories created, lessons learned, and success achieved throughout the year are something to be proud of. We, your coaches, and parents are honored to be part of your journey, and we look forward to seeing what comes next!!đź’™

The Round of 16 is where the journey comes to an end for our U14 Girls Academy.

This group has been a pleasure to watch throughout the season. Development does not happen overnight, and the commitment each player made week after week and month after month was evident in the growth they displayed on and off the field. The progress shown this season gives us great excitement for what lies ahead.

In their first Girls Academy season, the team finished third in their conference and became the first Independence Girls Academy team to reach the Sweet Sixteen at the GA Playoffs. While the tournament run has come to an end, it does not take away from the effort, resilience, and determination this group displayed throughout the season.

As we reflect on a memorable year, we want to congratulate the players, coaches, and families for their commitment to one another and to the journey. The future is bright, and the entire Independence community is proud of all that you accomplished. đź’™

A memorable season for our U16 Girls Academy đź’™

While we did not advance to the knockout rounds, that does not take away from what this group accomplished. These girls battled throughout the season, finishing second in their conference and winning the National Cup in Greensboro.

More than a team, they became a family. That bond was on full display following their final match, as teammates embraced one another after a hard-fought battle, reflecting the connections and memories built throughout the year.

We are excited for what the future holds as this group prepares for its second season in the Girls Academy and moves up to the U17 age group.

Congratulations on an amazing season. Your parents, friends, coaches, and the entire Independence community are proud of each and every one of you. 🫶
