9U Black
Daxton McSwain threw 3.2 strong innings, allowing just 3 hits while delivering 32 strikes. Wyatt Harmon led the offense with 3 hits, including 2 doubles.

10U Camo
10U Camo captured their third AAA Gold Bracket Tournament of the spring, winning the Davie County Top Gun Friday Night Lights event.

Elliott Day earned Top Pitching Performance honors, throwing a complete-game 5-inning shutout in the championship. He struck out 2 and allowed only 4 hits, backed by outstanding team defense.

Top hitters batting .500 or better this weekend were Lucas Lockhart, Kipton Tonzola, and Camden Tomlin.

10U Black
Wyatt Mowery delivered a complete-game performance, pitching 6 innings with 6 strikeouts to secure the win.

10U White
10U White went 3–1 to win the Top Gun Sports Cinco De Mayo Silver Bracket Championship.

Kolvin Collins and Jay Umberger led the offense:

* Kolvin Collins hit .700 with 7 hits, including 4 doubles and 9 RBIs
* Jay Umberger hit .625 with 5 hits, including 1 double and 5 RBIs

The pitching staff was dominant all weekend. Tanner Vaughn stood out on Saturday, throwing 2 innings, facing just 7 batters, and striking out 5.

Copperheads Top Performers – April 25–26

8U
Nathan Webster had an outstanding weekend, posting a .727 batting average with an incredible 2.273 OPS. He recorded 8 hits (4 singles, 3 triples, and 1 home run), drove in 10 RBIs, and scored 5 runs. He also played lockdown defense at both first base and pitcher.
Shoutout to Chandler Manning for hitting his first career home run, and congratulations to the entire team on their first championship win this spring!

9U Red
Went 3–1 on the weekend in a complete team effort.

9U Black
Finished runner-up in the Silver Bracket at the Top Gun Sports Greater Charlotte event.
Parker Hobbs earned team MVP honors with multiple hits on the weekend and an impressive performance on Sunday, striking out 13 of 23 batters faced.

10U Camo
Finished 4–0 at the Top Gun Super NIT AAA Division, bringing home the championship. The team outscored opponents 47–19 on their way to the Gold Bracket title.

On Sunday alone, Camo stole 28 bases while limiting opponents to just 6. They also picked off 7 runners, including 3 in a single inning.

* Top Hitter: Wyatt Engelson (7-for-9, 5 RBIs, all hard-hit balls)
* Additional hitters batting .500 or better: Lucas Lockhart, Lane Maxey, Elliott Day, Camden Tomlin, and Lucas Haire

Pitching Highlight:
Elliott Day continued his dominance on the mound, pitching 6 innings, allowing just 3 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 11 of 22 batters. He also posted a strike percentage above 75% for the second straight tournament.

10U Red

* Player of the Week: Bennett Reynolds – .857 batting average, 4 stolen bases, and excellent defense at 2B and SS
* Pitcher of the Week: Wesley Carroll – 5 innings pitched, 6 hits allowed, 7 strikeouts

11U Red
Jackson Wylie delivered a lights-out performance, throwing 3 hitless innings with 4 strikeouts.
Shoutouts to:

* Donovan Toole and Nate Walker for hitting their first home runs
* Austin Bertrand and Collin Dickhut for adding home runs, including a grand slam by Collin

In their first tournament of the season, the team advanced to the Gold Championship Game—a great start!

12U Red
