Week 3
Narrow wins and loses

TAPOUT is in the win column. Narrowly.. TAPOUT through caution to the wind and started QB G. Minshew (12 points) and it almost cost them the victory. RB D. Henry (28 points) finally showed up like a #1 Draft pick for TAPOUT and WR T. Lockett (39 points) was the star of the squad. TAPOUT was ahead 70+ points going into to Monday Night and then.... QB P. Mahommes (46 points) looked a man among boys tossing the ball in the park for the kids. Between him and WR T. Hill (21 points) they amassed 50 points in the first half!! That's tooo much!! LOL Needless to say WE MEAN narrowly loss by 3 and TAPOUT moves on with the win.

Lights Out narrowly won by an even less margin against Green Streeters. Green Streeters had respectable numbers up and down the stat sheet going into Monday Night down by 17 points and QB L. Jackson on deck. Lamar put up 16 points. He took his football and left Green Street with the L. Granted, Lights Out is 3-0 and dare I say it. This team is anchored by #2 QB J. Allen (37 points). Yup! #2 in the league. Lights Out also made one of the wire picks of the week by acquiring RB M. Davis (23 points). The team has done what was needed to win, but it looks fragile. We'll see. Narrow is still a win.

Slaughterhouse accounted for one of the decisive wins this week over Lynn it to win it. This game was won in the RB columns. Slaughterhouse got (57 points) from RB J. Conner and A. Ekeler. Lynn's backfield produced (14 points) A. Gibson and D. Lewis. That's not gonna gitter done. We may have lost one early. They did nothing to sure up the backfield and on their way to play Lex Luthor this week. We'll check back next week to see how much Lynn is in it to win it.

Lex Luthor handed the Wrecking Crew their first loss of the season. Scary thing is this... Lex has TE G. Kittle and WR M. Thomas approaching their return. QB R. Wilson (42 points) led the team into victory as the team suffered another injury in RB C. Carson. It doesn't look serious but it's got to be exhausting to keep losing your top draft picks. Wrecking Crew on the other hand has all the names across their lineup but laxks consistency that matches their level of potential. #8 QB M. Ryan (13 points) struggled against a Chicago D/ST that is a shell of who they were last year and are playing without their #1 player K. Mack. Aside from the Saints D/ST (-3 points) taking points off the board and starting QB having an average showing. Wrecking Crew looks like a safe to bet on squad going forward.

This one was a competitive matchup. Jays G-MEN is coming off of a blowout win where their backfield put up over 80 points. This week RB A. Kamara (48 points) kept the trend going and it almost felt like RB A. Jones (16 points) fell off, but he had a respectable game. #1 team in the league, Show me your TD's is running through the competition and putting up the points to secure their spot at the top. Show Me has a balanced team that can see any player combination strike gold. The G-MEN on the other hand, without question are driven by the success of the backfield and haven't given their team enough flex players to play situational football. 3 QB's can only occupy 1 slot.. 2 Kickers can only occupy 1 slot?? That's 3 slot on the bench on a weekly basis that can't be used to better position the roster.

Week 2
I know.. but it's still early

This week TAPOUT Got outplayed by QB J. Allen (42 points) for Lights Out. Nothing spectacular on either line up. Lights Out got an additional (24 points) from RB C. McCaffrey before he left the game with an injury. Even with WR S. Diggs on the bench for Lights Out with (30 points) is wasn't needed because TAPOUT's WR A.J. Green and RB D. Henry combined for a whopping (14 points). Green had 13 targets and 3 catches. His production has to catch up with the volume. I can't tell if TAPOUT is looking hopeful or pitiful. But it's still early.

Matt Ryan passed for four touchdowns (32 points) and Ezekiel Elliott added (23 points) as Wrecking Crew defeated Slaughterhouse 126 to 111. Wrecking Crew took a 46-point lead on Sunday afternoon and never looked back. Each team left something on the table as WR W. Fuller had a doughnut for Wrecking Crew and Gronk had a doughnut for Slaughterhouse. Wrecking Crew couldn't have slipped and put any of the 113 points on his bench in the game and fared even better. Anyway, it's still early.

Show Me and Green Streeters squared off in a great match up. This game was decided by Dak (48 points). Show me also got (21 points) from RB R. Mostert off of 10 touches before adding his name to the growing injury list. But both teams had a great game. RB D. Johnson (7 points) feels a little like T. Gurly to me. Hard to believe that we are seeing RB giants putting up low flex numbers at best. But it's early.

Jays G-MEN put up the highest score of the season to beat Lynn It To Win It 173 to 128 in a seesaw matchup. The G-MEN balled out of the backfield and got (88 points) from RB A. Kamara and RB A. Jones!! Lynn It To Win It landed the first blow and went into Sunday with a 7 point lead. That advantage evaporated by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed by 12. After the late Sunday games, the lead changed again, and they went ahead 128 to 115. Jays G-MEN then secured the victory with a comeback on Monday evening. Lynn don't worry, it's still early.

WE MEAN BUSINESS wasn't playing against Lex Luthor. Lex started the week with a confident (27 point) lead from RB N. Chubb and let it marinate on the scoreboard for a few days, like what? Well.. WE MEAN meant they were about their BUSINESS. Everybody showed up to work. Both teams had excellent QB play above (35 points). Both teams had TE's above (24 points). This game was decided at the WR 1&2 positions. Lex got (7 points) out of M. Gallup and (zero) out WR A. Miller. Both teams combined for over 320 points. Lex is going to see the Wrecking Crew and WE MEAN is visiting TAPOUT. Don't trip. I'm not worried. It's early.

You know what it is. Hit the wire and find somebody to hire. Wheel and deal and finesse a steal. But never forget.
There's only room for one Champion!

Week 1 Recap
Calm down. It's week 1

With that being said, Show Me Your TD's steam rolls TAPOUT! This got out of hand early and they never looked back. Everyone in the lineup scored in double figures, 20's and 30's even. The Champ looks good early. Let's see how the season pans out.

Slaughterhouse snatches the win from the G-MEN. Slaughterhouse had a monster game from WR D. Adams (42 points). This went back and forth. Jays G-MEN had a 74 to 51 advantage during the early games on Sunday. Then Slaughterhouse had the winning performance "🎶 late in the midnight hour🎵" Monday night from WR Ju Ju Smith (24 points). Even with an early exit from RB J. Conner (3 points) Ju Ju made up the difference. Tough loss for the G-MEN.

Wrecking Crew and WE MEAN was another blowout game. WE MEAN couldn't break 100 points over the weekend, and we all know, points matter! Wrecking Crew's first 5 draft picks secured the win. Most notable were QB M. Ryan (31 points) and WR D. Hop (30 points). There were a few concerns from both squads to be monitored, Wrecking Crew's RB L. Fournette (2 points) and WE MEAN's RB M. Ingram (2 points). It could be a simple "first game of the season thing" or a tale of something bigger. We'll see as the season progresses.

Lynn it to win it against Green Streeters was the game I kept my eye on. Both squads showed up and newbie Lynn it to win it pulled out the win. This game came down to WR play. Green Streeters got out played at the WR position 60-20. Check out the names who combined for 20. Keenan Allen, Tyler Boyd, and OBJ... I'm not going to go into panic mode over this, but I'm going to scream real loud one time. THIS GOTTA GET FIXED QUICK! On the other hand, Lynn has lost RB L. Bell to injury for the next 3 weeks. Wasn't crazy about Bell on the Jets... Yeah... The Jets. You can't really say that with your chest.. Anyway, That's it. It's week one. Nothing to see hear.

Lastly, Lex Luthor loses to Lights Out in a good game. The usual suspects showed up and did what they were supposed to do, except for a few. Let's start with Lex. RB N. Chubb (6 points) I'm not too worried, but I took notice. Baltimore's D is strong, but how many times do we have to watch all this star power in Cleveland get wasted! I'm praying for them. WR M. Thomas (4 points) suffered a high ankle sprain and is looking to be sidelined for a FEW WEEKS. That's a whole problem. Aside from Vikings D/ST (-4 points) taking points off the board, the last highlight is more of a serious concern. Lights Out wins but I'm still reeling that... hold up... Let me gather myself. RB T. Gurley is in a committee backfield. There! I said it! It just don't feel right saying. My mouth is saying it but my mind just can't connect with it.

Y'all know what it is. Work the wire and find somebody to hire. Wheel and deal, and find yourself a steal. But never forget, there's only room for 1 Champion!

UPDATE
I have added 3 reserve IR spots to every team. If you have a player who goes on IR you can place them into a reserve spot on your roster and claim a new player off the wire. This applies to any player who comes down with Covid as well. This function has been added as an option by NFL Fantasy due to the time adjustment of a player being placed on IR going from 6 weeks to 3. Enjoy the feature and have a great year!!

Rob Gronkowski is coming out of retirement to again play in the NFL, but he'll be doing so in Tampa. The Patriots are trading Gronkowski and a seventh-round pick to the Buccaneers in exchange for a fourth-round pick.

Week 6 Recap
Seismic shift taking place at the top; and "points for" matter!

TAPOUT falls out of the top 4 in a brutal loss to Slaughterhouse. TAPOUT lost their cool and blinked on the obvious. QB G. Minshew (6 points) instead of regular starter QB C. Wentz (25 points). This proved to be a far reach at the wrong time. Both teams lost starters Sunday. Slaughterhouse lost WR J. Gordon (1 points) and TAPOUT lost TE W. Dissly (0 points). But none of it mattered because all the help for TAPOUT was on the sideline!! This was a poor coaching week for TAPOUT and it cost them greatly. Slaughterhouse came in and sealed the deal as they should. TAPOUT may drop 4 slots out of the top 4. Both teams leave this week at the now crowded 4-2 spot.

Wrecking Crew put it all together against Green Streeters and looked formidable doing it with 172 points! Even late acquisition of TE H. Henry (31 points) proved to be a great selection. This week wasn't all bad for Green Streeters (134 points) with Packers D/ST yet to play tonight. It just wasn't good enough this week. Green Streeters had a promising bounce back week, but the byes and IA players on the bench is still a team in the making. Both teams are holding down the bottom spots at 1-5, but look like teams that might become spoilers in the weeks leading up to the playoffs.

Big ups to Team Loaded! They put it together and got a win after a rough 4 weeks. QB M. Ryan (36 points) stretched a point gap that RB M. Gordon (7 points) and WR K. Allen (5 points) couldn't close in the late game on Sunday. Lights Out definitely has the winning ingredients on there roster. But late scratch WR D. Adams (IA) and yet to play WR A.J. Green (IA) are needed to make this team function well on a weekly basis. The Eagles D/ST (1 point) went from shooting stars to falling stars in the span of one week. What had happened??? The suspect pick up of the week, RB K. Drake (13 points) turned out to be a good roll of the dice against a suspect Redskins D/ST. Lights Out slows their momentum just a bit going into week 7 at 3-3 and Team Loaded moves on to 2-4.

The game of the week was played between #1 Lex Luger and #2 Jay's G-MEN. Lex came out with the usual suspects Patriots D/ST (25 points) to start the week Thursday Night. But hold up... give me a second.... I want to put into perspective how the Patriots D/ST has been balling this year. They have put up 123 points so far. That's more than RB E. Elliot, RB D. Johnson, WR A. Cooper, RB A. Jones, and QB's P. Rivers and QB K. Cousins... For a D/ST.. that's balling for real! But I digress. The G-MEN didn't lay down and play dead. They got the only 50 burger of the week from WR S. Diggs and restored hope in the matchup. The big day of QB M. Ryan (34 points) Team Loaded, didn't translate into points for WR M. Sanu (5 points) and JuJu (1 point) got lost in the mix of a dominating run game from Lex's RB J. Conner (30 points). I guess the saying is true.. if it ain't broke don't fix it. They just kept feeding him and feeding him.. But the elephant on the stat sheet is something I've highlighted for the last 2 weeks. RB A. Ekeler (5 points) and RB L. McCoy (6 points) are now both backups on their respective teams. The G-MEN have 1 legit starting back RB D. Montgomery who is currently ranked 34th in the league.... On the other hand, Lex has consistently put up the points to win on a weekly basis. But they have an elephant on the roster also. They don't have a lot of depth at key positions for when the byes go into full swing in the next 2-3 weeks. This could be a problem waiting to happen. Anyways.. Lex sits alone at the top and has the points to stay there for awhile. G-MEN fall into the mix of 4-2 teams going into week 7.

Show Me and WE MEAN round out this weeks recap in what looked like a good old school standard scoring game instead of a PPR game. Both teams actually had a decent stat sheet, just no breakouts to separate one from the other. This was a close match up. This week looked a lot different from Show Me's close to 200 point total in last weeks comeback of the year. But the work got done none the less. This team also has a funny look to it that can be really on or really cool at times. No real studs to depend on.. WE MEAN on the other hand has had a tough time stringing consecutive wins together. RB S. Barkley's (IA) early season injury and the Rams D/ST who has all but loss their previous years identity has been one of the hindrances to the consistency of WE MEAN BUSINESS. These teams are going to be interesting to watch when the byes hit full stride. Show Me is going to take a leap in the ranks at 4-2 (in part to their last week point total). WE MEAN will be sitting at 2-4 until they can get their #1 draft pick back in the fold.

Y'all know what it is! Work the wire and find somebody to hire. Hit up the G-MEN for a trade and try to upgrade. But never forget, there's only room for 1 Champion!
