The Georgia Barbarians are your 2024 Battleship Invitational Tournament Runner-Ups! Big congrats to every player that put their blood, sweat, and tears into this tournament! Barbarians went 3-0 in pool play and played some of the best rugby the team has seen so far! We are excited for more rugby to come!

In a close final match, the Barbarians wrapped up the 45th Battleship Invitational Tournament as runners-up.

Outstanding job representing the Men’s part of the Union, gentlemen. You did us proud, and we hope you had a fantastic experience!

An additional congratulations to for competing in their first-ever XVs tournament. Well done, High Country!

Georgia Barbarians Rugby v Alabama Rugby Alliance

It has been a longtime coming. True state club rep XV's rugby is returning to Georgia, for the first time in decades. No mercenary sides. No travel baseball-style rugby team made up of players from elsewhere. Just the BEST of GRU club rugby, representing their clubs, and their Union!

The men finished their day with a thrilling back and forth match against Atlanta Olde White. The Barbos came out on top 22-17, thanks to a brilliant full field try followed by a last defensive stand. Way to go men!
