Hadassa Garcia set up a perfect assist for Brihanna Ashcraft to score the only goal UA needed in a 1-0 win over West Davidson. The team travels to Wheatmore on May 18 for Round 3 of the NCHSAA 3A playoffs! Game time is 7:00pm - take a roadtrip and cheer them on!

Huge congratulations to our women’s team for taking home the state title! The men’s team also had a strong showing at the meet, rounding out a great day for the program.

Brihanna Ashcraft dominated the track to become the NCHSAA 3A State Champion in all three sprint events AND earning Most Valuable Athlete honors!

🥇400m: 58.79

The 4x400m Relay team (Carissa Ambrose, Brihanna Ashcraft, Selena Espinosa, Skyler Brodt) also took 2nd Place with a new School Record of 4:16.43!

STATE CHAMPIONS & RECORD BREAKERS!
History was made on the track! Congratulations to Ana Leon, Emma Glumac, Peyton St. Clair, and Abby Isaacs for an incredible performance in the 4x800m.

Not only did these ladies claim the NCHSAA 3A State 4x800 Championship title, but they also shattered the school record with a blazing time of 10:06.74!

We are so proud of your hard work, grit, and the way you represent Union Academy.
