Margot Payne, swim instruction Margot began instructing swimming in 1993 and has loved it ever since. Standard lessons for one or Lessons are 30 minutes for one or two people.

Whether you're looking for swimming lessons for you or your child or training for a longer swim or a triathlon, I can help! I have been teaching since 1993 and have a proven track record. I grew up in water ballet that was then changed to synchronized swimming and has now become artistic swimming...

And what I wouldn't give to be able to have a group (old and) near enough to continue participating... I just love it!

It's where I learned to tread with legs only for hours at a time... And control my breathing and buoyancy... Skills I use every day at work.

Swim team had "turkey swim" for Thanksgiving earlier in the week...
Relays, starts, turns, wacky laps and of course centipede and synchronized swimming!

We got up to 7 on the centipede! And some of their synchronization could use some work, but it was a good effort!

Started the morning with an infinity pool from all the rain we've had in the last day. Power goes out for a good 6 and 1...

Started the morning with an infinity pool from all the rain we've had in the last day. Power goes out for a good 6 and 1/2 hours today and it continues to downpour and you come back to a mess of a pool. Time to drain some water and get it clean for tomorrow

I pulled a kid from a pool today. In the "shallow" end.
It was still over the kid's head. What's shallow to an adult is deep to a kid.

Drowning and potentially drowning is silent and fast. I was in the pool, had the kid sitting on the deck and back in my chair in under a minute. Nobody even realized I had to go in until they saw me climb out of the pool. (no need to use a whistle in this situation)

This is just one more reason why swimming is a life skill.
