Thank you Farm Bureau Women's Group (with Laura Hatley, Charles Herlocker and family) for bringing out the COW and the John Deere hit and miss engine to make some ice cream for the crowd. All donations for ice cream went directly to the Smith William Snuggs Endowment Fund to raise dollars for water safety awareness and swimming initiatives at the Stanly County Family YMCA. Children got to milk the cow and Charles got to make a lot of people in the park happy with his ice cream. Charles makes the ice cream as a hobby and has been at our event since the beginning of Smith Splash! Laura has been a co-worker of Lee Snuggs, a long-time friend to us, and a major fundraiser for the endowment through Farm Bureau and privately. You guys are great!
