Summer Heatwave Tips:

1. Water alone will not keep you safe when playing golf in the heat. Supplement with an electrolyte beverage like Gator Aid's Propel and super booster Gator Lyte. Keep the sugar low as it affects your blood sugar and that's a problem when you need steady hands on the finishing putts.

2. Remember to take your golf clubs out of the car after play. At 100 degrees your automobile can reach 172 degrees when in direct sunlight.
FYI - the epoxy that holds your clubs together softens at 125 degrees and melts at 225. The tape underneath grips begins to soften and degrade at 120 degrees.
You spend a lot of $$ on your equipment. Be sure to take care of it.
