In MLB pitching, there is fast then there is really fast! Chicago Cubs lefty pitcher Luke Little throws really fast, like 105mph fast! My understanding is there have only been a handful of pitchers to throw that fast - EVER!

Check out this video, "luke little 105 mph fastball"

Cubs' draft selection Luke Little's bullpen 105 mph Luke Little throwing flames. Note: I didn't add the music. Luke gave it to me that way.

One Day the Ball Will Stop Bouncing!

Many of you have been following my journey of training athletes and celebrating their successes. Along the way, I’ve realized something important: life goes far beyond the game.

That’s why our Basketball And…™ programs use basketball as a catalyst to develop life skills, foster personal growth, and unlock opportunities that reach far beyond the court.

Today, I’m excited to officially introduce my 501(c)(3) nonprofit, www.nowunonprofit.org! Our mission is simple: empower youth to succeed both on and off the court.

To better serve the community and expand our impact, we’re asking for your support. Please consider making a charitable donation to help us continue this important work. Every contribution—big or small—makes a difference!

Very proud of my guy Derrick Brinton, one of my first NoWu clients here in Charlotte. Early on, he showed that “grind mentality” with his approach & work ethic during our workouts. And, as his current results (High honors: 3.7-4.0 GPA) prove that mentaliy works whether it’s sports or academics — he got it done on the field and in the classroom.

Always recognized for his work on the court, everywhere he goes, the RIGHT people need to pay attention before it’s a “how’d we miss this one.” Shout out to my man Terrell Ivory at Phillips Academy Andover for being one of those RIGHT people who recognizes talent!

This is why I do what I do! One of the first ever female players I had the privilege and honor of training graduated from medical schhool yesterday and she is now Dr. Chinewe Maduegbunam! I cannot express how proud I am of her especially listening to some of her friends and family talk about her discipline, perseverance, and dedication to completing her goal of becoming a doctor - maintaing a 4.0 GPA and pledging Zeta Phi Beta while on a basketball scholarship at Fayetteville State University!

And, if that was not enough, hearing the stories from some of her classmates about how Chi Chi actually made medical school look easy or her mother sharing how in middle school when she saw Chi Chi sitting by herself at her desk she asked what she was doing and Chi Chi’s response was that she was mapping out the courses she needed to become a doctor! Damn!

However, all of this it does not surprise me because while training her I saw firsthand how focused she was. To go from nobody checking for her after her sophomore year to starting to train with me that summer to being named a starter her junior year and being recruited to play AAU for the first time that summer (& getting three college scholarship offers afterwards) to eventually earning a full basketball scholarship to Fayetteville State to graduating from medical school! Chi Chi is the embodiment on NoWu, NobodyOutWorksUs, and I’m truly blessed and highly favored to have played a part in her extraordinary journey!

To this end, I recently started a nonprofit organization to expand the reach and influence of our program and allow us to impact more deserving youth in the Chalotte area. More details to follow but I hope some of my Instagrsm & FB family will join and support me in my newest endeavor.
