Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to CRM Endurance Coaching! 13 years ago I ran my first 5K and I’ve been hooked on running ever since. I’ve used coaches in the past, and have been self coached, and I know exactly how much difference a coach can make. From having that extra push and finding the balance between enough and too much, to being there to support you during those challenging parts of training - a coach can make all the difference.

As an athlete, I’ve run countless shorter races and more than a dozen half marathons, 5 marathons (including one during an Ironman triathlon), and one ultra. I understand how challenging it can be to find the drive to get up for those early morning workouts, and how to balance running with family life, work, and having fun. I’ve also had my share of injuries, and recognize how important a solid training plan is - building mileage in a smart way and adding in harder efforts that will help challenge you without taking you too far. As part of my training, I am a huge proponent of yoga, cross training, and daily stretching and foam rolling (and I know how easy it is to skip those too).

I’ve run through pregnancy twice, postpartum, and firsthand know what that can be like, and the unique struggles of moms who run. I also know how important it has been to be, to feel good about myself, help me regain my confidence, and given me that time and space (and stress release!) to make me a better wife and mom.

So why become a coach? Because I am truly so passionate about running, and how it’s helped me - both physically and mentally, that I want to help inspire and motivate others. I believe that my experience as a woman, mom, and runner gives me a solid understanding of many different challenges and obstacles runners face, and how to overcome them. Whether you are just starting into running and have no idea where to start, ready to move up in distance, or looking for a PR time, I can help you. I have several options available for both limited and ongoing coaching - and if you don’t see what you are looking for, send me a note and we can work together to figure something out. Running coaches aren’t just for elite athletes, and don’t have to always be out of budget! Every runner can benefit, even if it’s only for a short time.
