Our first 14u tournament didn’t start out as we had hoped. We went 0-2 in pool play losing to two ’07 teams. We then hit our stride and went 2-1 in bracket play winning one in a tie breaker and beating an opponent that had beaten us in the morning. We fell a little short in the Silver championship to a great team, but overall I’m extremely proud of these girls. We continue to improve each time we lace up our cleats, and that is what it takes!
