Race Recap – Ace Speedway (05/05/2026)

Our team has been working hard to find more speed and were excited to give it a race day test this week! With Twin 40's on the schedule, we were able to have two shots at getting our ride up front.

In the first race, Big Body Bryson Pickard rolled off P4, got shuffled, and basically played follow the leader to a P5 finish. Not what we wanted, but we knew what changes were needed for the last race.

After the invert and a few tweaks, we rolled off from the pole in race two. Bryson led quite a few laps, but ultimately didn't have enough to get the job done and ended the night with a P2 podium finish! Still not fast enough, but a great end to a productive day.

Fresh off a Modified victory at Bowman Gray Stadium, Slate Myers will make his Ace Speedway debut in the Limited Late Model division.

Race Recap – Ace Speedway (05/01/2026)

We rolled into Ace this weekend for the 75-lap Prelude to the Cars Tour, and it brought out the toughest field we’ve seen yet. We’ve been putting in the work trying to make the 05 better every week, but this time we just didn’t quite have enough for this level of competition.

That said, Big Body Bryson Pickard was wide open all night, hammer down and making that Banks Racing Engine sing. We laid down a solid lap in qualifying to start P6 and, when it was all said and done, brought it home P6.

Not the result we’re chasing, but we’re leaving with a notebook full of information. There’s speed in this car—we just gotta keep digging and find a little more of it.

Race Recap – Ace Speedway (04/17/2026)

The PDR Team put in the work all week to get our new Banks Racing Engines power plant installed, and it showed right away. Billy Banks brought us a strong piece—the 05 was fast off the trailer, laying down a P3 in qualifying and our team’s fastest lap to date!

With Twin 50’s on deck, we had two chances to battle against some strong competitors. The first race was mostly single-file after the opening laps, and we brought it home right where we started with a solid P3 finish.

After the invert and another car dropping to the rear, we rolled off from the pole in race two. Bryson “Big Body” Pickard gave it everything he had, holding strong in the top 2 early on, but tire falloff caught up to us and we settled for another P3. Two podiums in one night isn’t bad—but we know there’s more speed to find.
