Ultimate family,
We are so sad to share the news that one of the beloved members of the Ultimate CrossFit family has passed. Aaron was a shining light in this world and, as many would say, he was one of the best of us. If you had the good fortune to meet Aaron it’s likely he walked up to you and gave either a high five, a hug or his trademark huge smile, and embraced you as family - it didn’t matter if it was your first time meeting him or the 100th.
He had a passion for traveling, fitness and adventures but perhaps his biggest passion was sharing a laugh or a memory with family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and an open ear, ready to listen and always ready to help. Aaron joined the gym in 2010 and was immediately a huge influence on the culture of Ultimate. Amanda and Aaron continued to stay involved in the community even after they moved to Naples and we were in the process of welcoming them back to Charlotte and the family. We will always be thankful for our time spent with him and his character is one in which we should all try to emulate. Aaron was one of the few people in this world where you never heard a negative thing said about him.
This wound is very fresh and still sending shock waves through our community. We will do a remembrance workout for Aaron when the time is right.
Our hearts go out to Amanda and the rest of their families.
We Love You, Brother!!!
