Do you ever feel like the world is talking to you?
I took my bike out on a stretch of the Blueway this morning looking for some exercise and some good photo-ops for the website and social media. I definitely succeeded! But a long the way, I noticed a couple bottles and other stuff sitting near the river bank. I picked them up and set them on the trail so that I could ride the rest of the trail and then pick them up on the way back. A long the way, I noticed some other trash that I did the same thing to but it started adding up and I was thinking "how am I going to bring all this back with only my shorts pockets?!"
Well I got to the end of the trail and the last piece of trash I found was half buried under some dirt... It was an unused trash bag. Seriously! What are the odds of that happening in that moment?? That wasn't any accident if you ask me. I think that was the world saying thank you for helping, here's a bag to carry the trash back.
I'll be honest, I have never felt more "in the right place, at the right time" before as I did this morning! I even got a phone call from someone wanting to take the kayaks out, although I'm not ready for customers quite yet... I still need insurance for you guys to be safe! But I tell you, what a great morning!
