In a world full of hatred you need love, light, and maybe some self defense knowledge. Martial arts helps us learn to deal with conflicts and the possible incidents you might run into in life. Martial arts can be considered ‘violent’. Which is a great reason why UpLevel preaches that, “martial arts is for self defense only”. Using this phrase as a motto, we learn to protect ourselves and project kindness. Spreading that kindness is necessary, the world needs more love. The smallest gesture of kindness can make a monumental difference in someone’s day. How are you showing love this Valentine’s day?

Life can be deceiving. It can falsely show us that there are limits. Long lesson short, there are no limits. You may need to adapt and overcome, but the possibilities are boundless. You can always learn more, get stronger, achieve goals, you can always keep going.

Failure is not something to fear! When you “fail” you don’t lose all of your progress forever. You hit a bump in the road, a hiccup, a hindrance. The thing with setbacks is that you can choose to get back up from them. You learn from them. You don’t get anywhere in life without failure. You need failure. It is a very important part of every journey. You don’t learn without defeat. It can make you stronger. The choice is yours. So, will you get back up and keep trying?

What steps are you taking to beat the odds? How is your journey getting you to your desired ambition?
