Tagir was a little kid when he came to me and even though he lives in NYC now, we keep up with each other - i was told I’m his second dad, so I take that very seriously. Even if he’s not here training with me, he sends me videos to show he’s never forgotten what he learned. Maybe one day he’ll be back in action and I’ll be there to cheer him on.
