I genuinely believe that effort is so attractive.
I've alway been the one to care.
From a very young age i was competitive AF.
(maybe too competitive but I digress)
I put forth effort into everything even tho it DEFFFF wasnt cool. I mean caring?? idk about you, but that wasnt cool.
Being successful, sure!! But you had to just happen into it.
Like it's somehow impressive to say:
"I don't really try."
"I just don't have time."
"I've accepted that's just who I am."
I just don't (or maybe won't) buy it.
I think effort is attractive.
The person who wakes up a little earlier to get their workout in.
The person who meal preps because they know life gets busy and they'd rather be prepared.
The person who asks questions, stays curious, and keeps learning.
The person who owns their mistakes instead of making excuses.
The person willing to look a little awkward because they're trying something new.
That stands out. At least to me, but have to imagine it stands out to others as well.
Ill be the first to admit I put a lot of time and energy into my self development over the past decade. I have spent time, energy, money on health, training, learning, growing (personally and my business) and it ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT EASY.
But it was WORTH IT.
And I see this every single day with our clients.
The ones sharing the incredible progress photos didn't magically have more motivation than everyone else.
They decided their goals were worth putting effort toward.
They tracked when they didn't feel like tracking.
They walked when the couch sounded better.
They practiced consistency, learned from setbacks, and kept showing up.
Again, was it always perfect? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Was it worth it? Every single time.
On the flip side, I also have calls every week with people who tell me they desperately want different results...but when we talk about what needs to change, every suggestion gets met with a reason it won't work.
They want a different outcome while protecting the exact habits that created the current one.
But different results require different inputs.
You can't keep repeating the same behaviors and expect your body, your health, or your confidence to suddenly change.
That's not how growth works.
Effort isn't embarrassing.
Caring isn't embarrassing.
Trying isn't embarrassing.
‼️ Settling because you're afraid to try.. .well now that might be.
The people I admire most aren't the ones pretending everything comes naturally. They're the ones willing to put in the work, long after the excitement wears off.
Because at the end of the day...
Effort is attractive.
And it's almost always the thing standing between where you are and where you want to be.
