Story time!
and I went to pick up from the Memphis airport and decided to play Johnson Road Park (one of our all time favorite courses) in Germantown, TN in the early morning. Hole 7 is one of our favorites to ace run! 17 is also a beautiful 350’ uphill shot over a waterfall fountain!
2nd shot off the tee, my Armadillo hit strong side chains and dropped straight in! I followed it up with “twice or it’s luck” and missed right. I said “let’s try that again” and hit the same spot and dropped straight in with my MCO Proxy that I received as a gift from 🎉

Part of my 2023 Holiday “Letter to Shareholders”:

My continued learning and growth at College of Charleston, JIYC, Coosaw Creek, STRS, and SSDS has been such a blessing. It’s clear to me now that my passion and purpose truly is teaching. There’s no feeling quite like seeing something finally click for someone that they put tremendous work into! I even started teaching some disc golf this year, which I am also loving!

This all carries over into the String Theory Racquet Services and Sweet Spot Disc Studio side of the business. Balanced growth was the key this year and I was able to give back so much this year to both the team and charity. This was my 8th year as the only certified MRT, CS, PRA in Charleston and my 3rd year operating Sweet Spot. Thank you all as always for shopping small and supporting my craft and passions!

Next year’s focus will be maintaining the beautiful balance that I found this year, and continuing to always grow as a teacher, husband, and individual. Katie and I found such amazing balance between our crazy productive work schedules and personal lives this year, and that will be continuing into the new year! If you happened to reach out to me this year at a bad time and I never got back to you, please let me know and try again!

Lastly, thank you all again for all the support and love over the past 5+ years, and I look forward to all our future growth together over the next year!
