One thing I always like to consider when there’s not enough room for an end table is the space behind the couch!

A long, narrow table can give you a spot to set your drink, remote, or whatever you like to keep nearby without crowding the sides of your couch.

It’s an easy way to make use of a spot that often gets overlooked!

Running out of room for all your shower products? 🚿

Before you start rearranging everything, take a look at the vertical space you might not be using!

For this shower, we used a few Command hooks to support an extra shelf, creating more room for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and all those other shower essentials without taking up more space on the bench.

A few thoughtful changes can completely change how a room functions. ✨
For this girl’s room, we focused on the spots where things naturally kept piling up — artwork without a place to display it, a desk that had become a catch-all, and collections that needed more room.

We added cork boards for her artwork, cleared and edited the desk so she could actually use it, and added shelving for her snow globes, trophies, books, ribbons + other favorites.

The best part? Her room still feels like her — it’s just a whole lot easier to keep organized

Bread bags are one of those things that can make a kitchen counter look cluttered FAST. If you have the drawer space, keeping them tucked away together gets them off the counter without making them any harder to grab.

When floor space is limited, look for storage space you might be overlooking. 👀

The back of a door is an easy way to get shoes up off the floor without taking up any extra closet space.

You don’t need anything fancy either; you can find affordable over-the-door shoe organizers on Amazon that get the job done.

Perfect for small closets, apartments, kids’ rooms, or anywhere shoes always seem to end up in a pile 👠

Think about what you do the second you walk through the door… keys get tossed on the counter, your bag lands on a chair, the mail gets set down “for now.” And suddenly, you have clutter. 😂

That’s why I love a good drop zone.

Giving those everyday items a designated place right where you naturally come in means there’s less to pick up later — and you’re not constantly wondering where you left your keys.

The key is to create it around YOUR habits. If you always walk through the same door and immediately put your things down, that’s probably where your drop zone should be.

A small tray for keys + sunglasses, a hook for your bag, and a spot for incoming mail can go a long way.

If you keep organizing the same space over and over again, it might not be you, it might be the system.

Before you buy another bin or spend an entire Saturday reorganizing, ask yourself:
Is this easy to put away?

Does it live close to where I actually use it?
Am I trying to fit more into this space than it can comfortably hold?

A good organizing system shouldn’t require you to constantly “reset” your home. It should make keeping up with your space feel easier.

Start with one area that never seems to stay organized and pay attention to what keeps going wrong. That’s usually a pretty good clue that something about the system needs to change.

One thing I’ve learned as a professional organizer? You don’t have to bring something into your home just because it was offered to you.

Being a little more intentional about what comes in makes it a whole lot easier to manage what’s already there. 🤍

One of my favorite ways to hang-dry clothes! ✨

These wall-mounted drying racks give you plenty of space to hang your clothes without taking up floor space. They’re a great option for small laundry rooms since they stay up and out of the way when you’re not using them.

Such a simple way to make better use of your laundry room space!
