We celebrated runners who made a difference last week. Congratulations to:
Alex Rose on is 1st place finish to help secure a 3rd place team finish for the Varsity boys.

Suri Kaplan for dropping over 1:30 from her PR to place 3rd on the team and 14th overall to contribute to the girls Varsity team win.

Brandon Rogers for his first place finish in the boys JV race to secure a team 🥇.

Victoria Tellez for working her way up to a commanding lead in the girls JV race to secure a win for the JV girls team!

Congratulations to our cross country athletes who participated in the Summer Miles=Fall smiles program! 1st year athletes had to run a minimum of 100 miles throughout the summer and returning athletes, a minimum of 200 miles to earn their shirt. 🏃‍♂️ 🦅

An AMAZING first race for Chapin at Heathwood Hall‼️

•Varsity Boys Team placed 3rd with Alex Rose coming in first with a time of 15:19!
•Varsity Girls Team came in 1st with Sadie Blocker, Raynie Nimmo, and Suri Kaplan all placing in the top 15
•Girls JV Team placed 1st with Victoria Tellez winning the race and Boys JV Team also placed 1st with Brandon Rogers winning the race!

We had a wonderful first meet of the season!
Varsity girls team - 🥇 with 3 top 15 finishers

Varsity Boys team- 🥉 with Alex Rose winning the race in a new SC high school top time this season of 15:19!

JV Girls- 🥇 as a team and congratulations to Chapin’s Victoria Tellez on winning the race.

JV Boys- 🥇 as a team and congratulations to Brandon Rogers on the individual race win.
