🚨 #12 David M.
David has been locked in all season. His growth is a direct result of the work he’s put in — always focused, always ready.

From the mound to the plate, he’s trusted the process and it’s paying off. He came up big with a triple to the fence, just shy of a grand slam. Proud of the way he continues to compete and lead by example.

Our last in-state tournament ended in a loss, but the result doesn’t tell the full story. Every single player showed just how far they’ve come this season.

The hustle, the effort, the dedication — they’re not the same team they were at the start. For most of them, this was their first experience playing travel baseball, and they’ve grown in every way.

We’re proud of the work they’ve put in and thankful for everyone who’s been part of the journey — especially our special guests, Ryan and Liam who brought some extra energy to the dugout.

Next up: Field of Dreams.

🚨MVP Spotlight: Koa T.
Saturday Koa sparked the comeback push with a clutch walk that brought in the tying run during Channahon’s big 3rd inning. Locked in at the plate and locked down on the bases — Koa continues to be a steady presence and smart contributor every time he’s on the field.

🚨MVP Spotlight: Santino E.

Santino was rock solid behind the plate on Tuesday — blocking everything, controlling the tempo, and keeping runners honest. He also went 1-for-2 at the plate and drove in Channahon’s only run. A strong all-around performance from our catcher!

What a game!! The boys battled back from a 5-run deficit but came up just short in a 10-8 loss to Bobcats 13U.

Channahon tied it up in the 3rd with smart at-bats and aggressive base running — highlighted by a triple from Layton S, a walk by Koa T, and a productive groundout by David M. Layton and Liam S each had 2 hits, and every player stepped up with hustle and grit on both sides of the ball.

A full-team effort that showed resilience, energy, and fight until the final out. 👏🏻

Koa went 1-for-1 with a triple and an RBI, locked down third base, and was named MVP by the opposing coach.

While it wasn’t the ending we hoped for, so much more came out of this tournament. This team fought till the very end, and to say that we are proud is an understatement.  Your Channahon Indians didn’t just play for themselves, they played for their teammates, their coaches, and everyone who has supported them through this journey. 👏🏻 Let’s keep building on this!
