Its been a while.

Todays story comes from a Kinder kid.

I have 3 houses.

Assistant coach: how do you get to have 3 houses and I only
Get to have one.

🧒: 1 is to have fun in, 1 is my moms, one’s my dads.

👩🏻: oh one’s for fun?!? Wow.

🧒: my dads a lot cooler than my mom.

🤷🏻‍♀️: oh maybe I’ll just keep that between us.

🧒: ya mom will get mad.

Today was purple day. And I don’t have much purple. It’s not a color I jive with. But I do have these cool purple pop tart socks.

Today a kinder kid comes to me with wide eyes and a large smile and Hair out of place because he played the heck outta PE today.

🧒“Coach are those PoTttt tarts on your socks?”
🧦: they sure are Poppp tarts.
🧒: (rubbing his belly smacking his lips) I know. I sure do love Potttt tarts.
🧦: I laughed. Hard. I love pop tarts too buddy.

The magic school bus set me up for failure! First of all, I have never shut the doors and opened them in another dimension, under water or in the rain forest. Also no lizard. Where is my lizard? Maybe tomorrow I’ll close my doors and open them in snow. Ms. Frizzle gets a jet pack. That frizzy headed teacher gets everything. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is year 5 for me at CES and #4 of those years I have spent with this wild child! When she was 4 she would ask me if she could have a prize for picking up her mess. Girl bye! You made the mess! Now I wish I would have paid her in prizes because she follows me around, I can feel her breath in my hair as she tells me I’m about to be all up in your business! At this point we are so close I’m thinking of letting her pay the bills. She asked me the other day if she could watch me sleep. OK. Im done.
