🎉❤️ **COACH GALLOWAY IS OFFICIALLY CANCER FREE!** ❤️🎉

We are beyond excited to share some incredible news!

Coach Galloway had his follow-up appointment and the doctor delivered the news we’ve all been hoping and praying for — **they were able to remove all of the cancer , and he will not need any further treatment!** 🙌

After everything he has been through, this is a moment worth celebrating! We are so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family, friends, and everyone who has prayed for and supported Coach Galloway throughout this journey.

**Today, we celebrate YOU, Coach!** 💙

He’s Home! 💙🏠

We have some wonderful news to share — he’s home! 🎉

After making amazing progress in his recovery yesterday, Coach Galloway was discharged and came home this morning. ❤️

Now the next chapter begins: rest, recovery, and healing from the comfort of home.

We’re so grateful for all the prayers, love, messages, and support you’ve continued to send his way.

Greetings, Champlin Park Wrestling Families ❤️

We had a quick preseason meeting tonight to talk about the upcoming 2026–27 wrestling season, and we wanted to share something important with our wrestling family.

Coach Galloway unfortunately shared with us that he has been diagnosed with cancer. The good news is that it was caught early, and he will be having surgery soon. While we are hopeful for a smooth surgery and recovery, we simply don’t know yet what this season will look like for him or how much time he may need away from the team.

Coach wanted everyone to know what is going on and also wanted to open the door for any questions or concerns. As you can imagine, this is a lot for him and his family to navigate, but one thing is certain — he does not have to go through it alone.

Coach has already put together an incredible coaching support system and booster club that is ready to step in and help wherever needed throughout the season. Our wrestlers will continue to have the leadership, coaching, support, and opportunities they deserve while Coach focuses on getting healthy.

More information about the season, as well as updates on Coach Galloway’s surgery and recovery, will be shared as we know more. Please keep an eye on Remind and our social media pages for updates.

Most importantly, let’s rally around Coach Galloway and his family. Wrestling is about so much more than what happens on the mat. We are a family, and this is one of those times when we come together, support one another, and show what the Champlin Park wrestling community is all about.

Please keep Coach Galloway and his family in your thoughts as he heads into surgery and begins this journey. We’re all looking forward to seeing him back where he belongs — on the mat with his wrestlers. 💙🤼‍♂️

We're excited to welcome Bri Voight as our Assistant Youth Coach this season!

Bri brings a strong wrestling background, leadership, and a passion for developing young athletes. As a two-time team captain, state qualifier, and All-Conference wrestler, she's ready to help our youth wrestlers build confidence, improve their skills, and love the sport.

What an amazing week of learning, growing, and having fun! 💙💛🤼

Our Champlin Park Youth Wrestling Camp brought together wrestlers of all experience levels to build strong fundamentals, gain confidence, and create new friendships—both on and off the mat.

A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches, high school wrestlers, volunteers, and families for making this camp such a success. Your time, energy, and support helped create an incredible experience for every wrestler.
