Saturday was full of emotions as the girls were together for one last time at their End of Season party! They laughed, they cried, they pouted and got moody, they ate food, lots and lots of food. They cheated at the name sticker game, completed a scavenger hunt quicker than I've ever seen anyone do, gobbled Fruit by the Foot in less than 10 seconds and loved smearing cool whip on a couple girl's faces. I think everyone was a victim of the silly string and a few were victims of the accidental bug spray incident. They weren't too happy that they lost in the Parent/Player Wiffle Ball game, but what can I say, we've got some parents with experience. Corey showed them his expert sliding skills and Chris showed them how to hit it over the fence. All in all, it was a FANTABULOUS day.

Sadly all good things must come to an end and this is the end of the 2023 Rampage 12U. So many memories were had during the season as well as life lessons. Hard work and determination all year gave these girls the title of 12U Champions at the Lilly Berry Tournament to close out their season.

Best of luck to all these girls wherever their softball skills lead them and thanks for the memories!!!

12U Champions in the Lilly Berry Foundation Tournament in Jackson, MO this weekend.

WHAT * A * WEEKEND

We started pool play yesterday winning our first game 11-2, with the game being cut short due to 70mph straight line winds that literally turned the park upside down (as you can tell by a few pics). Then the torrential rain hit that flooded the fields and canceled games the rest of the day. But with the dedication and hard work of the directors, games were back on today.

We were seeded #1 in our pool for bracket play today, where we rocked our first game winning 5-1. Then onto our second game, which was a nail biter, to come from behind and win 8-7. This led us to the championship game and the most intense game we have played all season. We were losing by 2 in the bottom of the 4th and scored 3 runs, giving us the championship title!

There was no better way to end our season!

One of the videos is long but it is worth the watch. Before our last game, Eric asked the girls if they wanted to say anything to their teammates and some of their words were real tearjerkers. Be sure to grab a tissue! 😊

Due to wet field conditions in Jackson, Rampage tryouts for tomorrow have been moved to Frisco Middle Field in Chaffee. Times will remain the same.

This weekend was spent making memories at July Blast in Fenton. The girls came to play Saturday winning both their games in pool play earning them a 1st place seed out of 13 teams going into bracket play today. They completed today earning 3rd place which is nothing to be ashamed of. Go Rampage!

This weekend the Rampage family didn't travel far to play in the Robby Wilson Memorial Showcase Tournament in Cape. These girls battled 2 days in 100+ degree weather but sadly didn't make it to the championship game this afternoon. They did however hit the ball better than they have all year with several triples and doubles. We also were able to celebrate our own Sophia Rae's birthday!

Last week this sweet little young lady hit an in-the-park grand slam. She may be small but she is fierce! Way to go Leelyn!!!

This weekend we traveled to Jonesboro, Arkansas and played in the 42nd Annual Mtn. Dew Grand Slam Classic. After a 6 hour rain delay Saturday, our girls played their little hearts out to win back to back games played at 9:00 and 10:15 pm. Today we started strong but unfortunately fell short to an incredible team. But yet again, memories were made and that's what counts! Enjoy the pics!!!
