CM Gridiron | Cherokee County Warriors Community

CM Gridiron is continuing to work toward growing support and followers from every school community across our coverage area, and today we want to spotlight the Cherokee County Warriors community.

We would love to continue expanding our coverage of Cherokee County athletes, teams, coaches, cheerleaders, band members, and programs throughout the school year. The more interaction and support we receive from a school community, the easier it becomes for us to recognize athletes and keep up with performances, accomplishments, and nominations.

CM Gridiron currently covers football, volleyball, flag football, cheerleaders, band members, coaches, teams, boys’ basketball, girls’ basketball, softball, and baseball. We are also considering adding soccer coverage in the future if enough support is shown from school communities.

Please help us spread the word throughout the Cherokee County community. Invite athletes, parents, students, coaches, and fans to come follow CM Gridiron so we can continue building coverage and recognition for Cherokee County athletics.

Congratulations to our Seniors — Nevaeh, Macy, Ellisan, and Raegan 💛🖤

Coach Magen and I have been honored and blessed to watch the four of you grow over the past 5 years — not only as volleyball players, but more importantly as people. Each of you brought something unique and much needed to this program, and together you helped shape this team into something truly special.

This season our goal was to “Leave A Legacy,” and that is exactly what you did. You will forever be remembered as the group that led our team to its first State Championship in program history. That alone is an incredible accomplishment. But your legacy is about so much more than wins, stats, or banners. It’s the standard you set, the leadership you showed, the way you loved your teammates, the role models you were, and the pride you took in representing your team, your school, your family, and your community.

All four of you excelled both on the court and in the classroom. We could not be more proud of all you have accomplished and the young women you have become. Thank you for everything you poured into this program. Your impact will be felt here for years to come.

As you turn the page to your next chapter, just know we’ll be here cheering you on every step of the way. We cannot wait to see all the amazing things God has in store for each of you. And always remember… “You were made for such a time as this.”

We would love to have all the young athletes in our area join us Saturday for our second youth clinic! You do NOT have to attend a Centre school to participate. All students are welcome. $40 per session. You can pay at the door.

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Bama Elite to bring a series of youth volleyball clinics to our area! 🏐

Athletes from across Cherokee County and surrounding communities are invited to join us for these skill-building sessions led by experienced coach Dusty Cothran, who has a strong background working with a wide range of age groups.

Payment by cash or check will be accepted at the door on the morning of each clinic.
