🥎⚡ LEAGUE TOURNAMENT RECAP – DAY 1 ⚡🥎

The Centralia SuperSonics 12U kicked off league tournament play at Trenton City Park with a strong showing, finishing the day 1-1.

🔥 Game 1: SuperSonics 9, Waterloo Thunder Matecki 11U 1

The SuperSonics came out swinging and never looked back, collecting 13 hits on their way to a convincing opening-round victory.

⭐ Brinn Detmer led the offensive attack, going 3-for-4 with three singles and two stolen bases.

⭐ Audri Ceglinski matched Brinn with three hits and drove in the game’s first run.

⭐ Harlow Tellefsen delivered a big two-run double and finished with a team-high three RBIs.

⭐ Emily Austin added two hits to help fuel the offense.

Inside the circle, Harlow was outstanding, throwing a complete game while allowing just one run over six innings and striking out five.

💥 Game 2: SuperSonics 6, Dazzlers Schmitt 11U 7 (Walk-Off)

The SuperSonics battled until the final pitch before falling in a hard-fought walk-off contest.

After building a 6-2 lead in the fifth inning, the Sonics showed their offensive firepower with key hits throughout the lineup.

⭐ Audri Ceglinski came up big again, going 2-for-3 with a clutch two-run triple.

⭐ Harper Garlich collected two hits, drove in a run, and swiped three bases.

⭐ Emily Austin added an RBI single during the SuperSonics’ four-run fifth inning.

⭐ Brinn Detmer continued her hot day at the plate with an RBI single.

The SuperSonics finished with nine hits and six stolen bases, putting constant pressure on the Dazzlers defense.

🥎⚡ FOOLS FOR FASTPITCH 12U OPEN TOURNAMENT RECAP ⚡🥎

🏆 3RD PLACE FINISH 🏆

The Centralia SuperSonics 12U-Tellefsen put together an outstanding weekend at the Fools for Fastpitch 12U Open Tournament in Fairview Heights, finishing 3rd against a talented field of competition, including 4 B-level teams.

The girls came out firing in pool play, going undefeated with a pair of dominant victories before battling their way to a thrilling walk-off win in bracket play.

💥 Pool Play Dominance

The SuperSonics opened tournament play with a 12-2 victory over the Celtics 12U behind a perfect 3-for-3 performance from Allison Siegler. Briella Alcorn and Brinn Detmer delivered key RBIs, while Harlow Tellefsen and the defense controlled the game from start to finish.

The offense stayed hot in Game 2, rolling to a 12-0 shutout win over Extreme-Grenzebach12U. Harlow highlighted the game with a bases-clearing double and three RBIs, while Allison Siegler and Audri Ceglinski each collected multiple hits. Briella Alcorn tossed three scoreless innings in the circle, and the defense once again played error-free softball.

⭐ Bracket Play

The most exciting game of the weekend came in bracket play when the SuperSonics rallied for a dramatic 9-8 walk-off victory over Southern Swat 12U.

Trailing 8-5 entering their final at-bat, the girls refused to quit. Emma Hawley started the comeback with a single. Harper Garlich continued the comeback with an RBI single, Briella Alcorn delivered a clutch two-run double, and Alaina Hilmes capped the rally with the game-winning hit to send the SuperSonics into the semifinals.

❤️ While the tournament ended in the semifinals, this group showed tremendous heart, teamwork, and determination throughout the weekend. The SuperSonics 12U-Tellefsen continue to prove they can compete with anyone!
