Way to start it off lady Yaks! ❤️🏐❤️

YVC Volleyball wins their home opener and first league match of the season. Way to get it done ladies. Highlights include: Mikayla Price with 15 kills (at 44% efficiency) and Akon Aleu with 11 kills at 60% efficiency. Kim Uluave with 38 assists, and Masie Hancock with 28 digs. The team had many players contributing to the win. The Yaks leave for Spokane tomorrow (Thur) for a tournament loaded with some tough competition, to help prepare for the next league match, on 9/12 when they host Blue Mtn. at YVC.

Get better soon Emma!

With #4 Emma Wierschke out with a concussion due to a non-volleyball accident in Eugene last weekend, the Yaks Volleyball Team has arrived in Des Moines (Seattle) for a Friday/Saturday tournament at Highline College. With a shallow roster of only 8 players this weekend, the team is still hoping to have a great weekend, and continue to work out some details in line-ups and offensive & defensive strategies. Go Yaks!!!
