To all the friends and hunters out there that have asked for advice when it comes to shooting a Big Buck. I want to say "thank you" for reaching out to me.

Here's a little secret when it comes to shooting a Mature Buck: The #1 thing a person can do to put the odds in your favor (when hunting mature bucks) is pass up little bucks and let them grow another year or 2. You do not need to shoot every deer that you see.

There you have it... it's really that simple!!!

Went out shed hunting over the weekend and didn't find any. Not that I expected to find any??? I did however confirm a few new stand locations and checked a few cameras and still had a lot of bucks holding tight as of 2/22/12
