For our first award, we’re proud to name Shea Hollendonner of the Centerville Bulldogs as our SIQ Player of the Year!

Shea was nothing short of dominant this season, averaging 19.1 points and 4 rebounds per game while leading a team that stayed in the top 5 of 2A all year. He scored 20+ points in 12 games, highlighted by an incredible 40-point performance on the road at Richmond.

Adding to an already remarkable season, Shea also broke Centerville’s all-time career scoring record. This is an even more impressive feat considering he missed most of his junior year due to injury.

There were a lot of outstanding players across the area this season, but no one matched Shea’s combination of strength, grit, toughness, determination, and elite basketball IQ.

Shea will continue his basketball career at Anderson University, and we’re excited to follow his journey at the next level.

Congratulations to Shea Hollendonner on an incredible season and an outstanding high school career!

Congratulations to Landyn Keiser for being named IBCA First Team Academic All-State in basketball! 🏀

Out of all the student-athletes recognized across the state, Landyn was 1 of only 44 boys selected for First Team, while 233 others earned Honorable Mention.

This honor shows the dedication he brings in the classroom and on the court, representing his team, school, and community the right way.
