Congratulations to Levi on his first over-the-fence home run!

A huge 3-run blast with 2 outs — what a moment. Great job, Levi. Keep swinging with confidence and keep working!

Congratulations to our 10U Rough Riders on winning GOLD at the Hudson Strong tournament!

Our 100% recreational team played with heart, teamwork, and determination, and we couldn’t be prouder of these boys!

What made this tournament especially meaningful was the opportunity to support another league and a young player undergoing chemotherapy. We’re grateful we could show up, compete, and support Hudson and his family.

Hudson, the Rough Riders are cheering you on!

Respect. Intensity. Progress.

Our 10U finalists and winners at the Hudson Strong Rec Classic, which included T&C’s very own 10U Braves, also welcomed Hudson on the field with them to celebrate.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the families who spent their Sunday rallying around Hudson and his family when they need it most!

As coaches, we’re grateful for the time we get to spend with these kids and their families.

Getting to work with the Round Rock Express to host a night like this for our Rough Rider Youth families made it even more special!

Hearing the kids say, “This was the best night of my life,” is something we’ll carry with us for a long time.

We love helping them grow on the field, and we’re just as thankful for the chance to share moments like these together. This was a core memory night for the kids and for us, too.

Thank you to the Round Rock Express for making it happen and donating back to our cause. Your support helps us continue investing in these kids, on and off the field.

And to our Rough Rider families, thank you for being part of it.

Come grow with the Rough Riders!

We’re excited to welcome players and families to our Spring 2027 tryouts! If your 10u player loves the game, wants to build their skills, and enjoys being part of a team, we’d love to see them on the field.

Our Spring season will include 10u Competitive Rec at CPYL and 4–6 outside tournaments. Expect plenty of reps, hands-on coaching, and a focus on growing as athletes and teammates—all guided by Respect. Intensity. Progress.

At Rough Riders practices, we always come with a plan. Every minute is filled with intention, purpose, and effort—and that includes making time for FUN!

We plan the reps, the drills, and the challenges. We also plan opportunities for these boys to laugh together, cheer each other on, try something new, and build memories they’ll carry loonnggggg after their playing days.

Sometimes that looks like working on baseball fundamentals…sometimes it looks like seeing how high you can jump while your teammates cheer for you.

It all matters.

Every shared laugh, every word of encouragement, and every “I’ve got to try that!” helps build our culture and their confidence in themselves and each other.

We want these boys to grow as players, love being teammates, and look back someday and say, “Man, we had fun.”

That’s part of the plan, too.

Local businesses — want to show our Rough Rider athletes that you’ve got their back?

Our 31 Rough Rider athletes are participating in a really unique fundraiser called LookWhoHasMyBack.

Each player will receive a custom practice shirt featuring the names of the friends, family members, and local businesses who chose to support them. Every shirt will be completely unique — no two athletes will have the same one.

If your business would like to support one of our athletes, you can have your business name printed directly on the back of their practice shirt.

It’s more than just a fundraiser. These shirts become a reminder to our kids that there are people and businesses in their community cheering them on, investing in them, and helping make their season possible.

There is no minimum amount required. Every contribution helps us provide opportunities, equipment, fields, training, and experiences for our athletes. Our next goal is specifically practice fields.

If you’d like to have your business represented on one of our players’ shirts, you can participate here:

Thank you for having our kids’ backs.

We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our sponsors, families, friends, and community members who have supported Rough Rider Youth.

Whether you’ve made a donation, sponsored our organization, donated equipment or services, participated in a fundraiser, shared one of our posts, or simply showed up to support our kids — you are part of what we are building.

Rough Rider Youth is about much more than winning games. We use sports as a vehicle to help young athletes develop character, confidence, discipline, resilience, teamwork, and virtue — lessons we hope they carry with them long after their playing days are over.

Your support helps us provide equipment, uniforms, field rentals, player development opportunities, scholarships, special experiences, and other resources that directly benefit our kids and families.

As we continue to grow, we don't take for granted the number of people who have stepped up and said, in one way or another, “We believe in what you're doing.”

To our sponsors — Raising Cane's thank you for investing in our mission.
To our families — thank you for trusting us with your kids and helping build this community.

And to our friends and supporters — thank you for donating, sharing, showing up, and continuing to have our backs.
Every donation matters. Every share matters. Every person who supports these kids matters.

We’re incredibly grateful for all of you, and we’re excited about what we’re continuing to build together.

Respect. Intensity. Progress.
