I ended my fast at 139 hours — a little over five and a half days. My original goal was seven days, but my body didn’t seem to be recovering properly, and I started feeling lightheaded despite staying hydrated and keeping up with electrolytes. I have a few ideas about why that may have happened, but only time will tell.

Tomorrow, I plan to get right back on track. I’m considering either transitioning to one meal a day or starting another 72-hour fast, depending on how I feel in the morning.

Start weight: 242.4
Last known weight at 110hours: 227.2

-15.2 lb difference.

Dont have my weight scale with me otherwise i would have an end result.
I feel 100x better physically despite today being a little rough. 🙏 n

60-Hour Water Fast Progress Update

I began this fast at 242.4 lbs and currently weigh 231.6 lbs. I have suffered from chronic migraines and rebound headaches throughout my life that I’m trying to heal, which makes fasting particularly challenging. The first 40 hours were manageable with no migraine symptoms. However, between hours 45 and 54, I experienced a severe migraine and nearly resorted to taking Tylenol or ibuprofen. My goal is to eliminate these medications from my routine, so I resisted. The headache has gradually improved—still present, but at a level that allows me to function.

Throughout the fast, I’ve noticed significant positive changes, including:
• Improved mental clarity and focus
• Reduced joint discomfort
• Enhanced overall appearance and physical lightness

I’ve been consistently supplementing with electrolytes to support hydration and maintain performance throughout the fast.

From Setbacks to a Reset: My December Training Shift

Back in March, I reached my highest weight at 300.4 lbs. A mix of depression, loss of direction, and mental fatigue took a toll on my health.

By July, through consistent running, lifting, and daily discipline, I brought my weight down to 237.4 lbs.

In August, I was sidelined by a blood clot in my leg, which made standing, walking, and sleeping extremely difficult. I spent several weeks inactive and regained 30–35 lbs. When I was finally able to train again, I pushed myself back down to the 242–247 lb range.

Unfortunately, early November brought another setback with severe leg pain and mobility issues, forcing me to pause training again.

December 1st marks a new approach.
Instead of pushing heavy weights and breaking myself down, I’ve shifted my focus to mobility, yoga, and controlled walking or running when my leg allows. I’m also currently undertaking a prolonged water fast as a reset—now at 40 hours in.
• Start of fast: 242.4 lbs
• Current: 233.8 lbs

I don’t have a fixed end date, but my minimum goal is 7 days(have done this before), with the potential to continue toward 21 days depending on how my body responds.

The plan? Start from nothing, build my online fitness brand, and eventually open my own gym. I’ll be sharing everything — wins, struggles, lessons, and behind-the-scenes as I grow.
