Big news, friends - the 2027 Hogrock Adventure Rally Team applications open November 1st!

We want to hear your plans for adventure! The HAR Team is an amateur rider sponsorship program, and yes, that means you! Mopeds, dual sports, big adventure bikes, the bike in boxes in your garage: if you’ve got hopes and dreams of 2027 moto-adventures, you can apply. Win cash and gear to help make those adventures happen.

Applications open November 1st! Keep an eye out for more updates. We’ll share the application link here and on our website as soon as it’s live.

In the meantime, head to the team page for all the details: https://www.hogrockadventurerally.com/team

The HAR Team is presented by Appalachian ADV - Adventure & Dual Sport Motorbiking, LLC; and supported by ABATE of Illinois, Inc. (Shawnee Hills Chapter), The Davidson Crew, and Hogrock River Rally.

Hey All - have you heard of the Right to Repair?! When you buy a bike, it's yours. You should be able to wrench on it yourself, take it to the shop you trust, and use whatever parts you want. More and more, manufacturers are making that harder.

Shawnee Hills ABATE and ABATE of Illinois, Inc. are pushing back, fighting to keep repairing and modifying our vehicles in our own hands. They can only do that with riders behind them.

Want to help? Show them some love! Join your local ABATE chapter. Down here, that's Shawnee Hills ABATE. Show up, sign up, and bring a buddy.

Learn more about their advocacy work here:

Helmet Legislationcapitol. House Rep. Daniel Didech will likely attempt to repeat his helmet bill again this coming year. From what Ski has heard, he supposedly likes the fight and thinks it's funny.

We want to share out another story of Adventure from a Hogrock Adventure Rally Team member! Big shout out to our good buddy Woody Kilmer, this year he took on multiple firsts with his recently upgraded CRF300L. Not only did he install the Ari Henning big bore kit himself; he then went on to ride in his first 24 Hours of Appalachia and the Buffaloe 500 Dual Sport at Stoney Lonesome Motorcycle Club! What a year, what a guy. Thank you, Woody! We love ya!

Thanks to Nathan Ensmenger for the photos. And thanks to Appalachian ADV - Adventure & Dual Sport Motorbiking, LLC again for sponsoring the HAR team!

We want to share some more of the HAR family - Tim Davidson, his partner Katie, and Adam Davidson have been such incredible support to HAR. They're Sponsors of the HAR Team, the sound engineers for the bands, grounds maintenance techs, motorcycle mechanics, and great friends (not to mention successful entrepreneurs in their own right). THANK YOU to the Davidson family - we really appreciate you! Can't wait to hang again soon!

We're stoked its Fall and the heat is breaking. We're genuinely enjoying the chill in the morning air on the moto-commute into work; and the colors changing. No agenda needed for a good ride this weekend - just get out there and enjoy.
