Photo day = a little loud, a little chaotic, and lot of smiles 💙💚

Between the laughs, the chit-chat, the bikes, and coach Jason directing traffic, the team gathered at Apache Wash Trailhead for photos against one of the best backdrops around. 🌵☀️

Then it was time to ride one last time before the first race of the season this weekend. 🚵‍♀️

The bikes are ready. The team is ready.

🚵 What a great way to kick off the holiday weekend! 🌅

Yesterday morning, our team rolled out from Flat Tire Bike Shop after making one important pit stop—topping off everyone’s tubeless tire sealant so they’re ready for race day. Here’s hoping the only thing our riders have to tackle next weekend is the course... not flat tires! 😉🚲

From there, the team hit the trails, enjoyed a beautiful morning in the desert, and even had a few wildlife sightings along the way. 🦌🐍

We wrapped up the ride back at the shop with donuts to celebrate senior rider Andrew, who turns 18 today! 🎉🍩 Happy Birthday, Andrew!

A big thank you to Flat Tire Bike Shop for supporting our team and helping keep our riders rolling all season long. 💙💚

THE NEW LOOK OUT IN THE WILD🚵

The Falcons and Stingers hit the trails last night in their new practice jerseys, and suddenly, the whole team is a LOT easier to spot out there. 😂

There’s something pretty awesome about seeing riders from different schools, different grades, and different skill levels all out there looking like one team.

And of course, we have to give a HUGE shoutout to our sponsors. Their support helped put these jerseys on our riders—and we are so grateful for every business and organization that continues to show up for our kids. 💙💚

Our 2026 CCUSD Mountain Bike Team race schedule is officially set, and we can’t wait to see our riders back on the trails!

Whether you’re racing, cheering from the sidelines, volunteering, or just coming out to support the team, we’d love to see you this season. Every race is an opportunity to challenge ourselves, encourage one another, and make memories that will last long after the finish line.

Some rides are fast.
Some rides are smooth.
And some rides push you outside your comfort zone.

Thursday's ride at Fraesfield Trailhead was definitely the latter.

Rocky terrain, technical sections, dramatic skies, and an unforgettable sunset made for one memorable evening. Every challenge on the trail is another opportunity to learn, grow, and become a stronger rider.

We can't wait to do it all again next week! 🚵‍♀️🌵

Nothing beats a monsoon backdrop! ⛈️🚵

We watched the storm clouds roll in while squeezing in another great practice before the rain arrived. Last night, we traded endurance miles for skill development, working through more technical trail features to build confidence and improve bike handling.

Every practice is another step toward being race-ready, and this team continues to put in the work. We can't wait to see them put those skills to the test during the upcoming ACA race season!
