The boys golf team traveled to Willard today to compete against 17 schools, and close to 100 golfers and finished 2nd as a team with a season low score of 304 with all 5 shooting a score in the 70’s!

Cheney Kelley led the way with a 3 over 73 good for 3rd place overall. Great day at the course for all!

4 boys played in the Big 8 JV tournament yesterday at Monett. All 4 placed top 10 with Kaleb Artherton and Kyle Brown tying for 1st place with 7 over 78s and the team took 1st place with a score of 324. Great job boys!!

At last check, there are still a few spots available for our golf team fundraiser tournament on Saturday. If you are interested, call the clubhouse and get signed up. $60 per player or $240 total, all in price of $85 per person which includes lunch, mulligans, skins, and closest to the hole and long drive opportunities.

The Golf team traveled to Carthage yesterday and competed against 22 other teams. The boys continued their streak of improving their overall team score from tournament to tournament with a score of 322, good for an 8th place finish.

Daichi Kezuka led the way with an individual score of 78. Next up, Willard on Thursday.

The Cassville Golf Course will be hosting the Class 3, District 3 golf tournament on Thursday May 7th and welcoming 17 teams. As part of MSHSAA requirements, all groups must go off with a marker to assist in scoring. If you are interested in helping with this, especially if you are a member with your own golf cart as this makes more available that day to spectators, email Coach Bagby at [email protected]

The golf team has had a busy two days! Today we had 8 golfers participate in varsity tournaments in Ozark and Aurora. The team in Ozark finished with a team score of 325, a low on the year, and Cheney Kelley led the way with a 5 over 76.

In Aurora, Daichi Kezuka shot a 6 over 77, good for 8th place overall in that tournament individually.

Yesterday, we had 3 boys compete in a tournament in Buffalo and Kaleb Artherton came away with a 2nd place individual finish and Kyle Brown and Trevor Brookes took 2nd in the scramble portion of the tournament. Good job boys!

We want to give a big time thank you to Arvest Bank of Cassville. They donated and cooked for over 120 people yesterday at our home tournament! The food was excellent and we are very thankful!
