Years after the fall of Umbrella’s most secret laboratories, the world remains scarred by the virus that turned humanity’s greatest cities into graveyards. Alice has survived countless battles against the undead, mutated weapons, and the corporation that stole her life, but her fight is far from over. When a hidden transmission reveals that a new viral strain is being developed inside an abandoned underground facility, she is forced back into the nightmare she thought she had finally escaped.
The facility, buried beneath a quarantined industrial zone, was designed to continue Umbrella’s experiments even after the company’s public collapse. Inside, scientists created a more aggressive infection capable of controlling its hosts, making the undead faster, smarter, and harder to kill. As Alice enters the complex, she discovers that the outbreak has already begun, and a nearby survivor colony is directly in its path.
Joined by Claire Redfield and a small group of resistance fighters, Alice must push through dark corridors, sealed laboratories, and streets filled with creatures that no longer behave like ordinary infected. Every level of the facility reveals another terrible truth about Umbrella’s final project, including the return of enemies who were believed to be dead.
As the infection spreads and the colony’s defenses begin to fail, Alice faces one last mission: destroy the source before the virus reaches the outside world. But the deeper she goes, the more she realizes that Umbrella’s greatest weapon may not be a monster in the shadows, but the secret still locked inside her own blood.
