“March 31 marked 10 years since my mom passed away unexpectedly. This hunt was special to me. I asked God if He would bless me with a turkey, and He all but put this dude in my lap. He was spitting and drumming and came running in to the box. If I hadn’t yelped when he got to 15 steps, he would have ran right past me. I say it every time, but, my word, what a hunt!
