🏀 Middle School Lady Panther Basketball Tryouts 🏀
All 5th–8th grade girls will be trying out for their grade-level team:
5th → 5th grade CCJP team
6th → 6th grade CCJP team
7th → 7th grade Middle School team
8th → 8th grade Middle School team
👉 Players may have the opportunity to “play up,” but that will be decided based on effort, teamwork, and skills.
✅ If you plan to play, you must attend tryouts. We are offering three different dates:
📅 Tuesday, Sept. 23 – All grades, 5:30–7:00
📅 Thursday, Sept. 25 – All grades, 5:30–7:00
📅 Sunday, Sept. 28 – only if you are actually in the 7th & 8th grade, 6:00–7:30
📅 Wednesday, Oct. 1 – All grades, 4:00–6:00
📌 Since Coach Zach and Coach Donnie will be leading all four teams, the majority of the time 5th–8th will practice together. There may occasionally be 7th/8th grade only practices or 5th/6th grade only practices.
📌 At the parent meeting on Oct. 1 (following tryouts), Coach Zach will go over more details and share the October calendar of games and practices.
📌 If you are currently playing a fall sport: Once your season ends, you’ll have 3 days off and then can attend basketball tryouts.
➡️ For volleyball players, your official tryouts will be:
Oct. 1: 4:00–6:00
Oct. 2: 4:00–6:00
Oct. 6: 4:00–6:00
