One thing we take tremendous pride in at West Georgia Diamonds is keeping competitive travel softball affordable for our families.

We are a true nonprofit organization, and we operate as such. Our organization asks families for commitment fees only, and we work extremely hard to keep those fees as low and affordable as possible.

But we want to be very clear about something:

WE COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT OUR SPONSORS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS.

We are incredibly blessed to have businesses and individuals who don’t just put their name on a banner.. They believe in our girls, believe in our program, and invest in what we are building.

Their generosity is what allows us to operate the way we do.

When a competitive travel softball organization can operate solely through sponsorships and community support beyond its commitment fees, that is something special. It is a blessing we never take for granted.

Every sponsorship matters. Every partnership matters. Every business that chooses to support the Diamonds is helping provide opportunities for these young athletes while also helping keep the financial burden off their families.

Our sponsors aren’t just supporting a softball team. They’re investing in young players, their development, their opportunities, and their futures.

Because of them, we can cover organizational expenses, provide resources for our players, compete at a high level, and continue doing everything possible to make competitive travel softball affordable.

Our mission is simple:

Keep costs LOW. Keep opportunities HIGH. Put the money back into the PLAYERS and the PROGRAM.

We are extremely proud to be one of the most cost- and budget-friendly competitive travel softball programs around, but that is a statement we get to make because an incredible group of businesses and community partners stands behind us.

Reflection Post!

💎 WGD 2K17 SPRING 2026 💎

Sometimes you have to look back to realize just how far you’ve come.

Last fall, this team was built with one simple intention.. Get some girls together, play softball, compete, and have fun doing it.

There was no blueprint for what was coming.

Then something started happening.

The girls bought in.
They worked.
They competed.
They got tougher.
And this little team started making some noise.

Going into Spring 2026, our coaching staff sat down and set a goal together:

TOP 10 IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA.

It was a BIG goal.

And these girls delivered.

💎 #9 IN GEORGIA 🏆
💎 TOP 100 IN THE NATION 🏆

From simply wanting to play some softball to becoming one of the highest-ranked teams in our state is something these girls should be incredibly proud of.

But what we’ll remember most isn’t the ranking.

We’ll remember the championships.
The battles against great teams.
The comeback wins.
The heartbreaking losses.
The long practices.
The hot tournament days.
The laughter between games.
The beach days.
The times at the pool together.
The friendships made.

We challenged them to play better competition instead of chasing an easy record. We wanted them uncomfortable. We wanted them tested. We wanted them to learn how to compete.

And they answered every challenge.

Spring 2026 proved what can happen when talent meets hard work, great families, committed coaches, and a group of young girls who simply refuse to stop competing.

What started as “let’s go play some softball” became something much bigger.

Top 10 in Georgia. Top 100 nationally.

Goal accomplished. ✅

But more importantly…

A standard was created. 💎

We’ll always remember this group and the season that showed us exactly what the West Georgia Diamonds could become.

We are now excited to flip the page with our team and the few pieces that we have added during the 8u to 10u transition!
