Fall Softball Registration is officially OPEN!

Fall softball registration dates are based on the USA Softball 2027 eligibility requirements. The division your player should register under is the division they would be playing in for spring 2027. If you have any questions, please reach out. You can use the calculator at the link below to determine what division to sign up for. Just be sure to click the "2027 Season" selection from the drop-down menu before inputting the birth date.

Players will be provided a fall softball jersey, socks and softball hair ribbon.
Families will be responsible for providing black softball pants, a heart guard undershirt, and cleats for their player in addition to the equipment needed.
*A heart guard under shirt is required for all 8U and 10U softball players. It is required for any 12U player who will pitch or play any infield position. Pitchers in the 10U and 12U divisions will not be permitted to take the mound if they do not wearing the proper safety garments.

Here is what to expect:
-There is no evaluation for fall softball.
-Once registration is closed you will receive communication from your coaches and an email invitation to your team Game Changer account.
- Games will be played through the week. Start times will be 5:30pm due to darkness progression in the fall. 10U games are Monday/Wednesday; 8U & 12U games are Tuesday/Thursday. *please note that field assignments are TBD as we work with the athletic department on use of the new facility and the baseball program on field availability. Practices and home games will either be in Carroll, Lithopolis or Baltimore.
- Practices will begin after the registration window has closed and will be at the coaches' availability and discretion.
- Games will begin the Tuesday 9/8 and end Thursday 10/22 (with a bye week for every team during Fairfield County Fair week- this week may be used to schedule makeup games depending on team availability)
- Fall softball is an instructional season and will end with a fun "blind-draw" Halloween themed tournament.
- All Mid-State Youth Softball League teams will utilize Game Changer to record game scores in real time. This is a league requirement. Please be sure to have this app downloaded upon registration. Once registration is closed and teams are rostered, you will receive an invitation via email (the email this account is registered to) to join your team Game Changer account.
