Kaitlyn Osborn’s Clutch Hitting Propels Caro Varsity Tigers To Victory Over Bendle Varsity Tigers

Kaitlyn Osborn drove in eight runs on three hits to lead Caro Varsity Tigers past Bendle Varsity Tigers 18-0 on Friday. Osborn hit a home run in the first scoring three, singled in the second scoring three, and doubled in the fourth scoring two.
Caro Varsity Tigers got on the board in the top of the first inning after an error scored one run, and Osborn homered, scoring three runs.
Caro Varsity Tigers scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. Kayleigh Harrison doubled, scoring one run, Osborn singled, scoring three runs, and an error scored one run.
Caro Varsity Tigers added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Harrison drew a walk, scoring one run, and Brooklyn Osborn doubled, scoring two runs.
Caro Varsity Tigers scored six runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. An error scored one run, Sophia Waltz singled, scoring one run, Osborn doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored two runs.
Osborn started the game for Caro Varsity Tigers. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking none.
