Just a reminder that entries close on the 30th and we will not be doing add-ons. Single pole and Rescue Gus will have sign ups available day of. More info on the comedy show as well will be available soon. Everyone that enters..will be automatically put in for a door prize. We will also be offering another raffle for prizes and all money for that will go to the Maryetta Cyr Memorial race. More info to follow!

We’re so excited to welcome you all back for the Chasin’ Cans & Dreams 2nd Annual Barrel Show and wanted to clarify a few important details:

🩷Rule Book – Available on Saddlebook. All competitors will be required to review and sign off prior to competing.

🧡Event Leadership – This is Wendy’s show. This event is her vision, and she and her family have worked incredibly hard to bring it to life. I’m simply the one behind the computer helping execute it. All rules, decisions, and structures are discussed together, with Wendy having final say.

🩷Concerns on Show Day – We absolutely welcome feedback and understand that no event is perfect. However, we ask that all concerns be brought respectfully to the show office rather than approaching Wendy directly, as she will be extremely busy running the event. We will ensure all feedback is communicated appropriately.
‼️If there is a safety concern, please report it to the office immediately.

🧡Entries – Please double check your entries before submitting. I’m always happy to help, and it’s much easier to make corrections beforehand rather than after submission.

🩷 RESCUE GUS: Entry will be at the gate! Not on Saddlebook!

Last year, pre-show lessons filled quickly, with riders still hoping to grab a spot after arriving at the show.

We’re happy to announce that a limited number of private lessons will once again be available on Wednesday (July 22nd) and Thursday (July 23) before Chasin’ Cans & Dreams Jackpot.

These lessons are a great opportunity to fine-tune your run, work through any last-minute questions, and head into the weekend feeling prepared and confident.

Spots are limited and must be booked in advance.

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME📢📢!!!! Chasin Cans Arena is proud to present Comedian Ryan Wanning to perform at our annual event in July. I’ve told him not to hold back so this will be a 18+show unless you’re a cool parent and don’t mind the language 😂😂I think we all could use a laugh or 2!! More info will be available soon!

HOUSE KEEPING!

In preparation for entries that go live on May 1st.

Please make sure your saddlebook account is set up. We use saddlebook because it shows real time results, projected payout, draws etc. It's a very useful platform and it makes the show go so smooth!

Due to the amount of last minute changes last year and the workload it brought to the admin team, there will be a charge of $10 if you need entries changed (unless it's a vet out, vet change etc) A lot goes into these shows behind closed doors and we want our team to have time to ensure it runs smoothly.

No refunds will be given unless it's an emergency or a vet out with a vet note.

NEW THIS YEAR:
🩷Exhibitions will be on saddlebook.
🧡No hook up are available. It is dry camping only. Staff will direct where to park to ensure room for everyone
🩷We are currently NOT offering panels for rent as we simply do not have the man power to do everything with set up/take down. That being said, if you are 18 and over, can confidently drive a tractor and want to volunteer to set up/take down panels we will offer them! (we value our help and compensate accordingly)
🧡 if we do not have a volunteer for panels it will be bring your own and they must be safe and secure.
🩷Liability waivers and Rule Books will be on Saddlebook. You will be required to read and sign off on this. There will be no warnings. Everyone is accountable for their actions and must know the rules and follow them. No "I didn't know that rule" will be tolerated.
🧡Payouts will be MAILED this year. They will be mailed out immediately after the show on Monday! We would LOVE to do payouts at the show but it was too much with people trying to get home, which we totally understand. So we will be mailing everything out immediately after so everyone can have their payouts in a timely manner.
🩷Single pole will be Friday night and sign up will be on SaddleBook
🧡Rescue Gus Class will be Saturday after the show (a short break will take place) it will be a $5 class PAY AT THE GATE sign up.

We are so excited and cannot wait to have a smooth, fast show this year. Wendy is hoping for a 14 second run, who's gonna bring it 😏

Good afternoon All! Few announcements!
May 1st entries open for our $10,000 added show.
This year we will have over 25 doors prizes up for grabs. Everyone that enters will get a ticket automatically..if you want more chances of winning something..extra tickets will be for sale. Prizes for open, youth, Middle and senior are starting to roll in thanks to The Tack Stop and Cassie’s Custom Tack sets along with many other prizes up for grabs.

People have been asking about using the arena and at the moment I’m going to hold off letting that happen till we get over mud season. It’s not horrible just want it to be completely dried out before it gets used! When I do open it, there will be sign ups for this. I got to make sure I dont double book, and make sure my kiddos are not using it for their horses and lessons.
