I’ve been spending a lot of time working through prototypes for the Hunter Scalpel and Agent.

One thing kept coming up, where do you keep the extra blades?

I wanted a simple solution that keeps everything together, so I started building handmade leather sheath prototypes designed to carry both the knife and spare blades in one place.

After a lot of testing, tweaking, and field use, I’ve got a small batch ready.

These are handmade, limited-run prototypes, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

If you carry a Hunter Scalpel or Agent, this might be the cleanest way to keep your setup organized and ready when you need it.

A pocket dump is simply a snapshot of the gear you’re carrying that day and the items you rely on most.

Today’s carry includes the Carbon Agent, my worn leather OffCut Wallet, and a Beckey Carabiner. Nothing excessive, just a few well-used pieces that make everyday life a little easier.

There’s something cool about gear that develops character over time. The scratches, wear marks, and patina all tell a story. This setup has seen plenty of miles, and it’s still going strong.

Carmel Beach sunsets don’t hurt either. 🌅

The Mettle Lord is one of those pieces that just feels right in hand. This tanto blade makes it perfect for all EDC tasks. G1 handle is built to last in the bar lock. He can open and deploy with a single hand.

I’ve had a lot of people asking about the Hunter’s Scalpel.

Right now, it’s out of stock, but I’ve got good news.

When the Hunter returns, it’ll come paired with a handmade leather EDC slip designed to make everyday carry even easier. The goal was simple, make one of our most popular scalpel-style knives more comfortable to carry and quicker to access throughout the day.

The Hunter still brings the replaceable blade convenience that people love, but the next release adds a premium carry option that just feels right in the pocket.

If you’ve been waiting for the Hunter to come back, hang tight. The next version is going to be better than ever.

If I could only keep one fixed blade in my truck, it’d probably be the Corelord.

This is a full tang workhorse built for the kind of jobs that happen when you’re miles from home. Splitting kindling, processing firewood, setting up camp, cutting rope, opening feed bags, or handling whatever the day throws at you.

The Corelord features a solid fixed blade design and a secure Kydex sheath that locks the knife in place until you need it. No rattles. No nonsense. Just dependable gear that’s ready when the work starts.

Whether it rides behind the seat of your truck, in your camp kit, or next to the fire pit, this is the knife you grab when things need to get done.

Simple. Tough. Reliable.

I ended up with more Wolves than expected, and with deer season and new product launches around the corner, I need to make room.

The Wolf features a tough tanto blade profile, marble carbon fiber scales, and a design that’s become a favorite for everyday carry. The crazy part? They’re sitting at just over $30 with free shipping.

I didn’t even put them front and center on the site.

Instead, I tucked them away in a secret link down in the footer of the Grit Knives website for those who actually watch these videos.

If you’re looking for one of the best values currently on the site, go hunting for the hidden link and see if there are any left.

Good luck. 🐺

Some gear just looks right together.

The Blackout EDC Combo pairs the Winnfield with the Blackout OffCut Wallet for a clean, low-profile carry that disappears into your pocket until you need it.

The Winnfield brings a compact, capable blade design built for everyday tasks, while the OffCut Wallet keeps your essentials organized without the bulk. Both feature an all-black look that keeps things simple, functional, and ready for daily carry.

Whether you’re heading to work, hitting the trail, or just appreciate gear that works as good as it looks, this combo checks all the boxes.

Minimal bulk. Maximum utility. All black everything.

Which one are you grabbing first, the Winnfield or the OffCut Wallet?

The Chigurh just dropped in a fresh new run.

Built around a reverse tanto blade, this design delivers a strong reinforced tip, excellent edge control, and cutting performance that punches way above its size. The D2 steel holds an edge through tough work, while the textured micarta handle locks into your hand with aggressive finger grooves for a confident grip.

What makes the reverse tanto so popular? You get extra strength at the tip without giving up slicing performance. From breaking down cardboard and rope to handling camp chores and everyday carry tasks, the Chigurh was designed to work.

Clean lines. Tough materials. Zero fluff.

If you’ve been waiting for the Chigurh to return, now’s your chance to grab one before this run disappears.

Over the weekend, I made it out to one of my favorite hunting spots. I biked in, and spent the evening glassing the hills. Unfortunately, the pigs seemed to know exactly where the property boundaries were and never gave me a real opportunity. I watched a tule elk work through the valley, caught an incredible moonrise over the ridges, and on the way out found a rattlesnake guarding the gate, adding a little extra excitement to the ride home
