Being a champion is about more than what happens on game day. It’s about making the commitment to show up every day, give your best effort, work toward becoming the best version of yourself, and be a great teammate along the way.

These young athletes have demonstrated the attitude, effort, and character that we want to see throughout our organization. Their dedication to improving themselves and supporting those around them has earned them this week’s recognition.

The Louisiana Cubs were honored to welcome UL DE/OLB Tito Chikere as he spent time speaking with our young athletes about building character, making good decisions, and doing things the right wayβ€”even when no one is watching.

Football teaches more than just the game. It teaches discipline, accountability, leadership, and respect. We are grateful for role models like Tito who pour into the next generation and remind our athletes that success starts with strong character.
