With only 8 skaters total — 3 defenders and 5 forwards (not even two full lines) — and two goalies, this 12U team walked into the tournament with their heads held high and battled harder than any team I’ve seen.

They came together, shared the puck, lifted each other up, and brought so much energy and laughter everywhere they went. It was such a special group to watch—skating hard, competing, and fighting for every puck while still having the time of their lives with their teammates.

They pushed all the way to the Championship Game of the Centennial Cup, taking it to overtime and then a shootout. Even when the final result didn’t go their way, they never wavered and never stopped fighting.

This team truly plays for each other, and it shows.

Coach Jeff believes in this group and truly loves coaching them—you can see it on the ice and on the bench. The way this team competes, supports one another, and represents their program is something to be incredibly proud of.

So proud of the effort, heart, and teamwork they showed all tournament.
