Snowmass Demo Days enjoyed being the official kick-off to the summer season in Snowmass Base Village 5 years in a row from 2015 to 2019. Snowmass Demo Days featured the hottest new products from top brands in the bike industry 5 years in a row from 2015 to 2019. It is our unfortunate duty to let all of you know that, despite our best efforts, Snowmass Demo Days will not be happening this summer. We really thought we were going to be able to make it happen for all of you and were working through all of the difficult circumstances like limitations on crowd size, mask and social distance rules and liability but there was one issue that we could not overcome and it isn't necessarily a bad thing. The biggest road block is that bikes are selling like crazy right now and a lot of vendors don't have enough product to field a demo fleet. It is hard to hold a bike demo without any bicycles. Sure we could setup our check-in tent and tell you all come up to Snowmass Demo Days just to say hi, but when you find out there aren't any bike brands you all would probably get pretty angry with us before starting to worry about our mental state.

It is unfortunate that we won't be able to produce the event, but it is hard to feel too bad about it given the circumstances. Our goal with Snowmass Demo Days is to grow the sport of mountain biking and if we have to cancel largely because the the sport is growing at an unprecedented rate this year, it all kind of works out in the end.

We will see you next summer. In the meantime, keep riding.

Sorry we have been hiding.

Normally by this time of year you have been hearing a lot from us. Gear posts, trail updates and general hype about the event. Well, unless you have been in a coma, living in isolation in a Tibetan monestery that doesn't have electricity or newspapers since December, or just crashed on your head recently (in which case you should see our write-up on 7idp 'cause you need to replace that helmet), you know that things aren't normal right now.

We have been working on the event though, and want to make this happen. Changing the date, changing the format, changing the layout, everything is on the table. You will hear more from us soon as things progress.
