The hardest part about softball’s early season isn’t always the opponent. Sometimes it’s the calendar.

“You say yes to a tournament...you don’t always know who’s going to show up,” SIU head coach Jen Sewell told The UnderDawg on Thursday before the team headed down to Nashville for matchups against Western Carolina, Purdue, and Lipscomb.
