Saturday Mario and Francesco wrestled in the Juggernaut Qualifier #1 at Bayshore high school.

Mario wrestled in 2 different division levels

🥇 Rookie
4th Advanced

Mario accumulated a bunch of take downs. Showed great motion on his feet. Held great composure when he wins and loses. Being only 6 months consistently moderate in the sport Mario wrestled above expectations.

Francesco our youngest competitor wrestled like a beast he never stop wrestling. His matches were very exciting. Brought great toughness and great sportsmanship to the mat. Francesco has been showing great improvement.

When Your Dad Is Your First Coach

Before there were club practices… before there were tournaments… before there was a whistle…

There was Dad.

He was the first one who showed you how to sprawl in the living room. The first one who told you to keep your head up. The first one who believed you could be dangerous on the mat — even when you were just a skinny kid in borrowed headgear.

When your dad is your first coach, wrestling isn’t just a sport.

It’s personal.

Every correction feels heavier. Every compliment means more. Every car ride home is layered with love, expectation, and sometimes silence.

He’s not just building an athlete.
He’s building a man.

And one day, when the medals are packed away and the mats are rolled up, you realize something…

He wasn’t teaching you double legs.

He was teaching you discipline.
He was teaching you resilience.
He was teaching you how to fight when things get hard.
