We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

Full throttle 125 recap from Saturday:

The unfortunate luck strikes again..

Our first trip to Citrus County Speedway and Track LLC

Friday throughout practice we made steady gains on the cars attitude and driveablity. We went from a 7 tight to almost nuetral throughout the day. Saturday morning we found a leak after the first practice session and spent the second session making repairs to where we thought it was coming from. Qualifying we picked up over 3 tenths from practice earlier in the day and the car felt the best it has all weekend, and there was potentially another 2 tenths in the car as it was the drivers first time to the unique track layout.
After qualifying we realized the leak was not repaired, so we chose to go back to the pit area out of race impound to attempt more repairs. A huge thank you to Tony Vitali for jumping in and tackling those repairs!
Come race time, when we headed to lineup we found more engine issues, (potentially catastrophic failure.) We decided to start and park in order to keep the engine in one piece and not ruin anyone elses night. We did however successfully repair the leak we had prior in the day, again thanks to Tony Vitali for jumping right in with everyone from Grant Thormeier-Racing. Thank you to Eric Purcell for coming to spot for me on Saturday as well!

At this point we may be down for awhile until we can purchase a new engine or have ours sent off to see if it is even fixable. But we will be back!

Weekend recap:

Not sure the word to describe this weekend. If it could go wrong, it probably did.

We unloaded Wednesday and made substantial gaines with the feeling in the car and then the issues started. Thursday morning lap one of practice we broke what we thought was just the rear end. We scrambled through the pits and Bret Mcelfresh made some phone calls and tracked down a replacement late Thursday evening. Thank you to Jeffrey Beck for bringing it to the track for us!
Friday morning Grant Thormeier, Gary St. Amant , Scott Hansen, Craig, Jimmy, Ron, Wayne Deline, Anthony Ruse all pitched in and we combined what was salvageable with the replacement center section and got it back in the car only to realize we also had transmission issues.
A huge thank you to the Stephen Nasse Racing guys for loaning us a transmission and Billy Bigley Jr. for loaning us a driveshaft to save our weekend.
Saturday morning we were ready to practice and have a smooth day. Unfortunately the car had other plans and we had major overheating issues by the second run in final practice. In the abundance of caution we had to make the extremly difficult decision after all the hard work and effort over the previous two days to withdraw from the race.

I can't say thank you enough for the effort everyone put in trying to salvage the weekend! We will tear into the car and come up with a game plan going forward.
